NEW INCENTIVES FOR HIRING (ITALIA OGGI, JUNE 27, 2013, PAGE 24)

The Decree Law, discussed on June 26 by the Government, aimed at establish an hiring incentive for facilitating employment. The incentive, equal to one third of the monthly salary up to a maximum of 650 Euro per month, is provided in favor of all the employers who will hire employees aged between 18 and 29 years old without regular paid employment for a least six months or without a high school diploma or live with one or more dependents. The incentives are applied also in the hypothesis of transformation of the existing employment relationship in open-ended term relationship, nevertheless of the subjective conditions of the employee. The incentive measure has a duration of 18 months in the hypothesis of an undetermined hiring or of 12 months in the hypothesis of the over mentioned transformation and, in any case, is operative up to June 30, 2015.
