Certification of employment contracts may help to prevent litigation on labour issues only when it is used in a way coherent with its own aims, clearly set in the Law Decree no. 276/2003. In fact, the justifying reason of the law consists in providing assistance to the parties which are about to enter into an agreement on some provisions that could be subject to claim. It has to be pointed out that the effectiveness of certified contracts has validity also before third persons such as INPS, INAIL, labour inspectors, as far as a judge does not remove the effect of certification.
