An alert tip for HR managers (Norme &amp; Tributi Plus Lavoro de Il Sole 24 Ore, 19 December 2024 \u2013 Vittorio De Luca, Martina De Angeli)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>Do you know that if you receive an email from an employee of your organization requesting you to update his or her bank details and informing you of the new bank account (IBAN) on which to credit their next salaries, it could be a fraud?<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How does it work?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Some cyber criminals, by setting up a fake employee mailbox or directly hacking into an employee\u2019s company mailbox, are increasingly sending fake messages to HR managers informing them that they have changed their bank account (IBAN). Reporting the new bank details, which are obviously controlled by the fraudster, they request that future salaries be accredited there.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"18510\" src=\"https:\/\/www.delucapartners.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/controllo-a-distanza-shutterstock_1047388429-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18510\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to protect your organization?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Never change an IBAN just because you are asked by email, and always check the sender\u2019s email address.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is always preferable to speak by phone or vis-\u00e0-vis the employee involved.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>But that is not all.
