Apprenticeship: it is possible to hire employees from unemployment lists and to get the 50% of the unemployment indemnity

The apprenticeship reform, besides the confirmation of the existing economic incentives, sets the chance to hire employees who are included in unemployment lists as apprentices. In such case, in addition to contributive benefits which were already provided for by the Law no. 223/1991 – which means the chance for the employer to get a contributive reduction for the first 18 months of employment starting from the hiring – the company may benefit the economic incentive equal to 50% of the unemployment indemnity which would have been granted to the employee for every monthly wage paid to him/her.
