On the occasion of our webinar “An HR Coffee with De Luca Partners,” the speakers Silvia Zulato, Senior Associate, and Alessandro Riccardo Polli from the Labour Consulting Division of HR Capital STP explored the new provisions introduced by the May 1st Decree.
What emerged?
- Collective bargaining takes on a central role as the legal benchmark for ensuring a “fair wage”;
- The “fair wage” corresponds to the overall economic treatment provided for by the National Collective Bargaining Agreements (CCNLs) signed by the comparatively most representative organizations at national level;
- Collective agreements will have to include wage adjustment mechanisms to cover the period between the expiry and renewal of the collective agreement, in order to ensure adequate remuneration.
