The Court of Cassation confirmed that the expiration of a fixed-term employment contract could be extended one time only and as an exception. Therefore, the extension of the abovementioned contract is allowed for contingent and unexpected needs only, different from the ones that justified the original term, even though the extension agreement is authorized by the inspectorate.
