A company operating for over 80 years in the engineering and supply of gas and oil treatment plants and equipment required assistance in the dismissal of its Director General and the simultaneous revocation of his role as Chief Executive Officer, as well as in managing the judicial implications arising from the challenge of the dismissal.
Our approach
The firm supported the client with a strategic approach aimed, in the initial phase, at assessing possible settlement solutions and managing the dispute with a view to mitigating legal and financial risks. A structured handling of negotiations with the executive was therefore prioritized, including attempts to reach an out-of-court settlement.
Our intervention
Following the challenge of the dismissal by the executive, the firm assisted the company both in negotiations aimed at reaching an out-of-court settlement and in the subsequent litigation before the Court of Milan. The dispute was ultimately resolved through a settlement agreement between the parties, avoiding a judicial ruling.
