APPRENTICESHIP: TRANSITIONAL REGULATION FOR TERTIARY SECTOR

On December 14th, 2011, Confcommercio, Cgil, Cisl and Uil signed an agreement in order to identify a transitional regulation concerning the apprenticeship so called “professionalizzante”. In the light of the legislative development, the agreement has the aim of realizing an effective way for meeting demand and supply of labor with the intent of bringing the companies needs near to the human capital potentiality and promoting the use of the apprenticeship, assuring to company and workers more certainty about the applicable contract regulation. Therefore, the parties have confirmed the application of the rules currently in force in the Tertiary sector, at least until April 25th, 2012 (deadline stated by Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 167/2011), and committed themselves to begin a negotiation in order to guarantee the following acknowledgement of the entire apprenticeship regulation, under the mentioned Legislative Decree, for the whole part referred to the collective bargaining and maintaining the central role of “bilaterality”.
