The Council of Ministers approved the bill on the labor market reform. The document, including 26 pages and 10 key points, presented by the Ministry of Labor, Elsa Fornero, is aimed at: (a) promoting a more equal distribution of the protection in the employment relationships, controlling the flexibility margins introduced gradually over the last 20 years and adapting the discipline of the individual dismissal to the current economic background; (b) contrasting the avoidance of the contributive and tax obligations with more strictness. It is provided for a new asset of the social safety valves and of the related active policies, as well as elements of rewarding for the establishment of more stable employment relationships.
