Ministry of Labour, answering to the question no. 33/2010 on the correct application of the Legislative Decree no. 72/2000 concerning the transnational secondment, specified that the employees seconded from abroad to Italian premises shall be granted with the same conditions of the Italian colleagues. Considering that the Italian Law does not provide a quantification of the minimum salary, it is necessary to refer to the provisions of the National Collective Agreement. It is required an adequate and comprehensive assessment of the economic conditions, avoiding a difficult comparison between the individual retributive items of the original Country and the Italian ones.
