DLP Think Tank

Research, training
and international collaborations

De Luca & Partners’ Think Tank manages and coordinates research, training (internal and external) and editorial activities on labour law matters, protection of personal data and administrative liability of entities.

De Luca & Partners invests in researching and disseminating Employment Law material and for this reason collaborates with Il Sole 24 Ore and with the main employment law publications.

Its partners and associates are often invited as speakers at training courses, workshops and seminars on employment law issues in Italy and abroad.

  • For over a decade and until 2013, when the edition ceased, De Luca & Partners was responsible for drafting Employment Terms and Conditions – Italy published by Towers Watson (formerly, Watson Wyatt).
  • In 2015 and in 2018, De Luca & Partners has been responsible for the edition of Doing Business in Italy for the ICE Institute.
  • Since 2016 De Luca & Partners has written the Italian section on Italy of the “Employment & Labour Law Guide, published by the English editor Global Legal Insights. This volume publishes information and studies on the latest labour world trends, changes in the legislative framework, major judgements and current and pending reforms in the various jurisdictions. The guide is published for General Counsel, HR experts, lawyers, advisors and more generally, managers who wish to have a picture of the most important labour law issues at a global level.
  • Since 2018 De Luca & Partners has been a part of the “International Comparative Legal Guide to Corporate Immigration”, published by the Global Legal Group in partnership with the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
  • In 2017, De Luca & Partners played a leading role as Contributing Editor of the editorial project “Industrial Relations Law Across the World”, a book devoted to industrial relations, in which 7 countries participated, that was published in 2017 by Wolters Kluwer.

This book is addressed to general advisors, managers, HR experts and lawyers who deal in different jurisdictions, and helps to clarify the most important laws that must be taken into account when facing the challenges of our global and increasingly interconnected economy.

In 2019, De Luca & Partners published the second edition of this editorial project extended to 19 countries around the world.

In addition to more traditional methods (a library with more than 1,100 manuals, the most up-to-date databases and daily consultation of trade journals), De Luca & Partners also uses internal training protocols for its professionals, through special periodic sessions during which the lawyers and experts of our Firm discuss legislative innovations and the latest positions adopted by case law.

As from 2016 our “Team meetings” have been held twice a month, twice as many as in previous years. During these meetings our experts discussed more than 400 different issues.

The Firm regularly organizes conventions and seminars.

In 2016, a new event format designed by De Luca & Partners, called “HR Breakfast” was also introduced.

HR Breakfast is a cycle of short seminars – organised by us once every four months – to address issues that we consider to be of particular interest to our customers.
