Reorganisation of business divisions through workforce and activity rationalisation 

Client request 

A company belonging to an international group operating in the production and distribution of products for scientific research and clinical diagnostics required assistance in restructuring several business divisions through targeted rationalisation of activities and professional roles.  

Our approach 

The firm adopted a structured and prevention-oriented approach aimed at assessing the feasibility of the transaction, defining timelines and identifying key risk areas. Particular attention was given to identifying solutions to minimise the impact of the reorganisation on both employees and business operations.  

Our intervention 

We assisted the client throughout the restructuring process, preparing the documentation required to initiate the procedure under Article 7 of Law No. 604/1966, conducting negotiations with employees’ legal representatives and representing the company before the competent authorities. The process was completed through individual settlement agreements, without giving rise to litigation.
