The Ministry of Labour, with formal response to the question No. 21/2012, has confirmed that the hiring in apprenticeship of persons enrolled in the lists of mobility (i.e., lists where employees subject to collective dismissal procedures are registered) can be entered into regardless of the employee’s age. The Ministry, with another response to question No. 25/2012, has moreover specified that also the apprentices may enroll themselves in the uncompensated mobility list, so called “piccola mobilità”, in connection with a dismissal for objective justified ground related to reduction, transformation or cessation of business or work, even in case of companies who employ less than 15 employees.
