AGENTS OF INDUSTRIAL SECTOR: RENEWAL OF THE COLLECTIVE ECONOMIC AGREEMENT (IL SOLE 24 ORE, JULY 31, 2014, PAGE 33)

The renewal of the collective economic agreement for agents and representatives of the industrial sector was signed on July 30, 2014. Among the main innovations: (i) the prediction of the possibility of agent’s refusal of the so-called “middle entity” variations; (ii) the extension from 12 to 18 months (24 months for the “one-firm” agent) for the period in which the “little entity” variations are considered as one only; (iii) a decrease from 20% to 15% of the commissions reduction necessary to consider the variation unilaterally decided by the principal as of “middle entity”; (iv) the provision of the obligation for the payment of default interest in case of late payments; (v) the right to indemnities for the agent who resigns for Enasarco early retirement; (vi) the possibility of contract suspension up to 12 months in case of pregnancy or adoption.
