SOCIAL SECURITY CONTRIBUTION REDUCTION FOR 2013 BONUSES (IL SOLE 24 ORE, MAY 31, 2014, PAGE 19)

The Ministerial Decree of February 14, 2014, published in the Official Gazette no. 123 of 29 May 2014, has confirmed for this year the opportunity for employers to take advantage of the social security contribution reduction for 2013 bonuses provided by the second-level bargaining. In order to benefit from the above, the bonuses must be linked to the increase of business productivity, quality and competitiveness measured by economic indicators specifically identified by collective agreements. The government budget earmarked for this benefit is Eur 607 million compared to Eur 650 million of the last year.
