Organization and algorithms: here are the rights to strengthen (L’Economia, Il Corriere della Sera, 13 April 2026 – Martina De Angeli)
“Artificial intelligence has a significant and direct impact on work organization and on personnel management models.”
Martina De Angeli, senior associate at De Luca & Partners, has no doubts about the disruptive impact of AI—both in terms of speed and scope—on the world of work. “The automation of repetitive tasks and the use of advanced analytical tools will radically transform processes such as recruitment, evaluation, and workforce planning,” De Angeli warns. A transformation that accelerates timelines and decision-making, also thanks to the ability to rapidly process large volumes of information.
“This entails a gradual revision of organizational structures, with, in some cases, effects on employment levels. At the same time, the need for human oversight in decision-making phases and in process control is becoming stronger,” De Angeli emphasizes.
It is precisely on the employment front that the greatest tensions are emerging. “Artificial intelligence, like any factor that affects company organization or the skills required of workers, may, under certain conditions, justify a change in job duties or even constitute a justified reason for dismissal.”
